Sustainability Trust runs Wilderkids, a super cool holiday programme aimed at getting children into the Wellington town belt, exploring the bush. We illustrated and designed posters, fliers and banner ads to lure the wild things in, and hi-vis vests for their big adventures.

The Appreciation Engine Dashboard helps businesses track customer behaviour across multiple social networks, and enables them to reach out to their customer base with a tailored approach. We know Appreciation Engine from way back, and were very happy to help when they approached us for a redesign and front-end development of their application management platform.

Bluebridge Ferries come to us for all things illustration – from colouring competitions to teatowels and kids’ books to chatbots.

Jane and her young daughter Grace were all set with a business plan to sell homemade icecream to beach-goers in summer hot-spot Kaiteriteri. They had the perfect place to park up their caravan, lovely 50s-style decor, but no logo. We were quickly on the same page with a direction, and Jane and Grace were stoked with the sweet outcome.

We met Ange at the campground in Mount Maunganui early in 2015 when we were living in a housebus. While our sons bonded over matchbox cars, we got to talking about our work. She’s a hairdresser, and wanted a special card to give wedding clients after their big day. I offered to help and she gave me a haircut on the spot – my only professional cut of the entire trip!

We got to know the owners of Okarito Nature Tours while staying in the small, West Coast town of Okarito. We leapt at the chance to repay their hospitality a few months later with a rebrand and website for their natural sandfly repellent. Since then, Okarito Sandfly Repellent has gone from strength and is now stocked throughout the country and at all DOC stores.

Ngā Manu Nature Reserve in Waikanae contains the last stretch of original coastal lowland swamp forest on the Kapiti Coast. Being such a unique slice of New Zealand’s natural history, we were thrilled to rebrand the reserve and to create an easy-to-use website to help boost visitor numbers.

The owner of Rakiura Retreat on Stewart Island came to us needing help updating various aspects of her 10 year old site. We pretty quickly realised that the changes she wanted just weren’t going to give value for money so we suggested an overhaul of the whole thing for a similar price. We came up with a fresh, new look, edited copy, and an integrated booking system to boot.

German magazine Mit Liebe was running a Christmas feature on table etiquette for the festive season and approached us to illustrate a formal table setting and a wine/food match to accompany the article.

A longing for the exquisite chocolate of their Argentinian homeland led owners Alex Gimenez and Lorena Giallonardo to establish Patagonia Chocolates in 2005. A decade later, they are chocolatiers, ice cream makers and coffee roasters with four cafes located in the Southern Lakes of New Zealand. For a packaging refresh, Hannah was tasked with creating an illustration depicting the story of Patagonia Chocolates – from Argentina to Queenstown, with amazing ingredients thrown in along the way. They loved it so much she was asked to translate the illustration to the wall of Patagonia Chocolate’s flagship store.

Sarah is Hannah’s mum. She’s been a celebrant for a while and is the go-to girl for weddings in Hanmer Springs (and in the extended family!). We all agreed it was about time she had a website of her very own, and although she just wanted a super simple site (none of this clicking-about business), we couldn’t help go to town a bit on the botanical styling.

Thomas’ old Hamburg volleyball team has a friendly ‘king and queen of the beach’ tournament every year. So he can still be there in spirit, we design the first prize t-shirts for the king and queen each year.

In a google search, Melbourne photographer Brence Coghill‘s first name hits the first page without even trying. We used this to best advantage with his new logo, settling on a eponymous wordmark. Brence’s taste was clear from the beginning – slick, high-end design with a hint of clever to keep you on your toes.
